i know it would be weird for the pokemon games to exist in the pokemon universe (or, at least, with the same stories), but who cares lol

Actually, I threw that idea into my own fan fiction as a throwaway gag; Pokemon “video games” exist, but they are seen as a lousy alternative to the real deal. =P
