at the end of the film I found it curious how they did not turn the lights on as the credits were rolling like in US theaters. The lights stayed completely off until the kill screen at the end of the film. no one was even shuffling for stuff or really talking, they were watching the credits.

i wonder why in the US we start to turn the lights on during the credits? i have a sorta-habit of staying if i feel there might be something in the credits, but usually we leave like everyone else. i actually remember when seeing LotR once, the theater actually cut the credits short because they wanted everyone out.

okay nothing really wrong with deleting my capslock comments but

i find it hysterical that the text that remains in the pokemon xy news tumblr’s reblog makes me seem very calm when the next sentence in the original post is me shouting about how nyomo is a shit for covering the name up in their picture

>read petty’s update with the sailor moon reference in it

>go back to working on my comic

>also has a sailor moon ref in it

this was unintentional i swear

I think I will catalog my White run under the “Other Adventures” section of the forums and make it a kinda liveblog here. It’s gonna follow these rules:

  1. Before starting the run, pick what will be the final team (fully evolved). Do this by whatever means you wish. Also designate one of them as the “starter” (having it cover one of the starter types would be a good idea as well)
  2. Breed off for the basic forms of these pokemon on another cart that can trade them as eggs to the cart you will do the run on. DO NOT HATCH THEM.
  3. Once starting the run, pick a starter in the game that matches well with what will be your “starter”. Make sure that the type disadvantages/type advantages match up close enough to the usual.
  4. As soon as you are able to, capture five other pokemon and trade in your eggs. Hatch the eggs now in the cart doing the run. If you need a specific gender for a final evolution, make sure you get it now. If you don’t get it, rebreed it and try again until you do.
  5. Box everything but your “starter” and get dice or an online dice roller.
  6. Roll a 5 sided dice to pick one pokemon to add to the team.
  7. After each badge, repeat the dice roll (but with 4 sides, then 3, then 2) to add another member to your team.

No other limits.

a lot of the “rules” are merely about prep for the run lol oops

i’m kinda tempted to get black or white in english?

since they’re O region I can play them on my 3DS and iunno i could buy them used…

i wanna play bw again but i also don’t wanna pay for another japanese copy and after black2 i’m kinda interested in seeing the loc as a whole first hand? i doubt it would look suddenly spectacular or anything, but regardless…

side example:

we would have no idea that gamefreak had an arceus event planned for DPPt if people couldn’t dig through or alter the data.

Similarly with the lock capsule.

no one besides those who worked on the game would know about them, they would not have articles on bulbapedia, nothing. they would simply not exist to us if it was impossible to look at the game’s coding.

pelipper:

my mom actually knows a lot about pokemon because i used to make her play the n64 games with me because i’m an only lonely child

and she used to watch the anime with me too

my dad knows a lot cause he taught me how to play the TCG (which is how I got into the series). he’s also done some VA work with them too, so yeah ahahaha

my mom knows some pokemon too; her favorite is snorlax cause it sleeps all the time haha. i usually name my snorlax after this dumb thing with my mom (when my sister and I were young we annoyed her with the whole “moooom” kind of thing and she said “i’m not mom, i’m fred” so yeah my snorlax are named fred).

took a short break from p4g and made the beta kid’s aspect’s hoodies for ac3ds yay

gonna do the alpha kid’s aspect’s hoodies later tonight prolly. and then the four troll-only aspects after that.
